I am a Christian Educator with a passion for educational excellence. I will strive with you and your child to help them develop into their God gifted, full potential. God has called students to thrive and I am here to help them reach success; whatever that looks like for them. Each students' success story, both in the classroom and in life, will look different. Success also occurs at individual paces and levels. I earned an Educational Specialist Doctorate (EdS) in Organizational Leadership, K-12 Curriculum, from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. I also earned a Masters (M.Ed.) in Secondary Education, Mathematics, from Grand Canyon University. My Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Management, specializing in Accounting, was awarded from the University of Pittsburgh, Greensburg, PA. I have experience in multiple levels of education from preschool to high school graduation in both the public and private school sectors. Education opportunities have granted me experience in full-time, part-time, and substitute teaching, tutoring at all levels, behavior modifications and educational instruction planning. As a certified, emergency substitute teacher for multiple school districts and intermediate units, I benefited from diverse districts, communities, families, and students. I also have experience as a Head Start classroom aide, and school bus driving. I have held various teaching positions within Pennsylvania since 2005. I truly enjoy meeting the challenges that arise at the various stages of student development. I also prefer the Christian Worldview and a smaller school setting; I feel this better meets each students' individual needs for "success". Having a community, as we do at Champion Christian School, allows educators to see the growth in each student, their families and the way that faith is interwoven into the fabric of their lives. Real life examples prepare and engage the hearts and souls of our students for a lifelong love of learning.
