Meet Mrs. Val Varesio, Human Resources Director, Financial Aid Director, Teacher

I am a 1996 Graduate of Waynesburg College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education.  I hold an Instructional I Certification.  I’ve also completed Masters Level courses at Waynesburg College.

I began my career after college as an Assistant Teacher for the YWCA and a Substitute Teacher for many surrounding districts.  I also enjoyed serving as a Social Worker for 12 Foster Children traveling to six surrounding counties.  I worked as an Administrative Assistant working my way up to Human Resources Manager. God has taught me so many things throughout each and every one of these positions.

I have had the privilege to raise money and dedicate my time to many people & organizations throughout my career to help those in need.

I am married to Billy, Project Manager for Siemens Industry, Inc. We have two beautiful, intelligent children, Will and Emma.  I thank God every single day for blessing us with such an amazing family. We also have two dogs; Finley & Meatball.  In my spare time I enjoy hiking, camping, sewing, making crafts, and reading.

God gave us the opportunity to move to the Indian Head area in December 2014.  We became members of the Indian Head Church of God.

My role here at the Center is Human Resources Director, Financial Aid Director & Elementary Support Teacher.  Some of my responsibilities include financial aid, payroll, accounting, benefits, managing personnel documentation, managing policies, managing the work program, counseling billing, teaching children that need additional support, and most importantly doing God's will.  I feel truly privileged to serve the Lord here at the Center!

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
