Center’s and Suggested Activities:

Puzzles - Put together puzzles depicting modes of transportation. Play dough-cookie cutters showing kinds of transportation. Art Use pre-cut shapes of different colors and sizes to create a boat picture) Teacher-Directed: Play red light, green light game.

Blocks-Make train and or garage for vehicles with block shapes

Snack Ideas: Pizza wheels (Each child is given an English muffin to cover with sauce and cheese to look like awheel) Tuna Boats(Hot Dog rolls with tuna mixture use toothpick and triangle of cheese for the sail.) Cookie Plane- use airplane shaped and decorate with frosting

Student Outcome

1. The student will be able to recognize and identify several types of transportation.

2. The student will realize the importance of safety measures (seat belts, stop lights)

when traveling.

3. The student will be able to state that God is with them wherever they go.
