JOB DESCRIPTION: Secretarial Support Staff

We are looking for several secretarial support positions within the Center.  School secretaries and development positions are available.   We are looking for full and part time individuals to fill a variety of positions.   See salary by referring to the salary page.

Supervisor: ICVCFCC Director

Summary:

Secretary will be responsible for performing all clerical tasks relating to the administration of the Center including typing, filing, form production, duplication and reproduction, coordination and reproduction of Center correspondence, and reports while demonstrating Christian principles in accomplishing these tasks.

I. Qualifications

A. Completion of the requirements for a High School diploma.

B. Be immunized and in good health. (Leviticus 13:1-6)

C. Secretary must be able to demonstrate the attributes required to be a Christian role model for the people he/she comes in contact. (1 Timothy 4:12f; Joshua 24:15)

D. Must possess communication skills enabling him/ her to work effectively with Center Director and other professional staff at the ICVCFCC.

E. Must possess the basic skills related to the function of clerical tasks such as: typing, familiar with the office machinery, filing, good phone personality, etc. (Proverbs 18:24)

II. Responsibilities

A. Position requires 20-40 hrs/week as scheduled by supervisor.

B. Secretary will be responsible for typing professional records submitted by Center Staff.

C. Secretary will be responsible for typing and reproducing special professional projects such as grants, journal articles, etc.

D. Secretary will be responsible for typing and reproducing all functional Center correspondence, such as; letters, thank you=s, reports, etc.

E. Secretary will perform all other required tasks related to the effective operation of the ICVCFCC.

F. Secretary will abide by the policies and procedures as defined by the ICVCFCC Board of Directors. (Joshua 1:7f)

G. Secretary will handle phone communications and office management duties.

H. Secretary will handle required office tasks for Champion Christian School and the faculty.

III. Evaluation

A. Secretary will participate in a minimum six month probationary period during which time he/she will receive two supervisory evaluations. After the successful completion of two three-month evaluations, he/she will participate in a formal evaluation procedure every year.
