Putting Contest

The putting contest will be held on the putting green at the course all day, beginning upon arrival at 7:00am until the end of the round when the final putt offs will occur. The putting green will only be closed from 7:50 to tee off time at 8:00 to assure that players get started on time.

The Putting contest will consist of two parts:

1. Qualifying

2. Final putt off. (One Putt)

QUALIFYING

Qualifying will be achieved by putting a ball into a 3' circle from approx. 50', as is designated on the putting greens. A player will be able to purchase 3 balls for $5.00, and may purchase as many balls as they like and have time to putt. You may only qualify one time.

Example: Players may purchase 3 balls upon arrival at the course while their captain is obtaining their cart and assignment materials from the course. If they putt one of those three balls into the drawn circle then they have qualified. If they do not put any of the three purchased balls into the circle, then they may choose to purchase three more balls. Players may do this until the ball is putted into the circle. If they have to leave, upon turning the corner of the course they may purchase three more balls and try to put them in.

Golfers must keep play on the course moving while participating in the putting contest.

FINAL PUTT OFF

The final putt off will be done in reverse order of qualifying. (The last player to qualify is the first to putt). The putt off will be done after the tournament is finished, and after the other skill prizes have been awarded at the covered picnic area.

Separate prizes will be distributed to the players that are closest to the hole for as many prizes that we have to award. 1st place, 2nd place, and so on. A list of prizes will be posted on the website closer to the event, and on the putting green the day of the event.
