Dear Champion Christian School families,
Once again it is time to plan for another school year. Unfortunately, many of the uncertain financial situations in our nation and individual lives have not changed significantly. But in spite of this, we remain confident in our trust in our Almighty God and in the power of His Son Jesus to see us through. It’s a time when we have an opportunity to place our situations in His hands and watch Him work it all out for our good.
As we plan for the 2011-2012 school year, we watch our children grow up quickly. Providing them with an education that will help them grow into mature God-fearing adults continues to be a priority. The Biblical perspective and moral compass offered here at Champion will impact our students for a lifetime.
Both the board and administrators want to provide you with all of the information you will need to make it easy for you to plan for your child’s continued education at Champion Christian. We strive to stretch every dollar and earn your trust in the Center and Champion Christian School. With the current uncertain economic situation, it has become even more difficult to stretch dollars. Foundations are more cautious about giving funds, the state is cutting some areas of support, and companies and individuals are more conservative in their giving. Also, each year we face unknown expenses. The support staff, teachers, and administrators here at the Center, have sacrificed by taking a reduction in their compensation packages. In spite of this, we find that we must still cover our expenses. We also have to account for inflation. Therefore, we have no choice but to increase tuition.
Rest assured, the board is making every effort to provide extra help for those who truly need it. We also realize that everyone cannot afford to pay the full price of an education at Champion. We only want you to pay the portion that you are able to budget. We want you to receive financial aid rather than struggle with more financial burden than you can bear. Everyone is sacrificing for the good of the students.
We will also continue offering work-related aid as in the past.
What this means to parents:
1. If you received a full financial aid package in the past, and your finances have not changed, this will be taken into consideration.
2. If you were not eligible for financial aid last year, you may be this year. It is important to apply if you feel the cost is unaffordable. We are doing many things to give families ways to send their children to Champion, but always in the context of fairness to what everyone else is sacrificing.
3. You will again need to complete the application process to qualify for the program as you did last year.
Please be sure to complete and return the forms as soon as possible.

On behalf of your Board of Directors, I want to sincerely thank each of you for your willingness to go the extra distance in an effort to provide the best educational opportunity possible for your children. We will continue to make every effort to maintain and improve the education Champion Christian students receive while providing an environment that allows them to see the positive example displayed in an organization that has its roots planted in Christian values. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, you may contact me, or the Center’s Executive Director, D. Merle Skinner.
Blessings to you,
Brent L. Fulton
Vice President/Secretary
P.S. Enclosed you will find tuition rates and appropriate applications for enrollment and financial aid for your family. Please contact us if you need help!
Since we are on a rolling enrollment there is no need to complete an application for enrollment. However, if you have any changes to insurance or need to update any information, please notify the office immediately of those changes. Students will stay enrolled until you tell us your children are no longer returning to CCS by contacting Amanda Wingrove, Financial Aid Director, in writing.
There have also been some changes in the registration fee. The registration fee has increased to $200 per student for K-12 and $100 for Preschool. Half of the registration fee is non-refundable if you do not accept your financial aid package. There is still an early registration discount if you pay ½ your registration fee by the end of February and the balance by the end of March. The fee after March 31 goes up to $250.
