"Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy."  ~ Psalm 33:2-3  

        The verse above highlights the main focus of our Elementary Music program.  We learn to become skillful in our music knowledge, appreciation, and performance.  We explore music and music theory through listening activities, math activities, art and sensory activities, and on and on.  We are growing a great group of musicians who will lift their voices to praise God!

  We also learn about different Bible characters and how they used their talents for the Lord and how we can use our musical talents for the Lord too.

This year, the third - twelth grade students will showcase their extrordinary talent and musicianship growth at the Somerset Church of the Brethren on Friday, April 28th beginning at 7:00 PM. Hope to see you all there!
