Advanced Academic Placement for Students Based on Champion's developmental orientation, we desire to make sure that students are placed in both supportive and academically challenging learning situations. We do this within developmental groupings and appropriate age placements. When students perform above grade level in a particular subject, they may be placed in a more advanced group or given more challenging assignments.  This decision is made by the Principal with input from the classroom teacher and parents. Students are placed appropriately based on their performance and abilities.  At the high school, dual credit classes are offered for students to take from our teachers as well as from local universities.
