SPEECH
SERVICES are
available to students in grades K-12 as part of ACT89
services. The Intermediate
Unit Speech Therapist works with the
students in small groups as funding and availabilty allows. The
amount of time may vary from year to your. As students get older it has
been more likely for their services to be online with the
therapist. Parents and/or teachers may request a speech screening to
determine if children meet the criteria for intervention. Students in
preschool with eligible services may also qualify for early
intervention services through the Intermediate Unit. There is no fee
for students to participate in Speech.
