Students research and report on a topic chosen by the student and approved by the staff. On the day of presentations students share what they learned with elementary students and staff. They are judged by specific criteria.
Timeline of Assignments Due
Requirements- Will be attached by 02/24/14 This will explain what is need in the report. It will also explain what will be happening.
What is a glossary? - This will need to be attached to the final copy. It helps the student learn what is a glossary and how it should be used in books.
Topic/Board Order Form 02/05/14 -This is to have communication between the teacher and parent about a topic the student has chosen.
Resource Page Due 02/28/14 - This is to help the student start the project earlier. It also helps the students, parents, and teachers begin the process of collecting data.
Bibliography Formats (Resources) for Final Copy -This is an example of how the Bibliography should look depending on the sources used. This should be submitted along with the final copy.
Judging Criteria- This will show what the Judges will be looking for during the presentation and in the report.
