Each
year in May, the Elementary students take our year end trip together
for an educational day of fun and travel. We have gone to Lake
Erie, where we spent time on the beach and
took a boat tour of Presque Isle Bay aboard the Victorian Princess.
While in Erie we also visited the Maritime Museum to learn about
"The Official Flagship of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania", The Flagship Niagra. Another
favorite end of the year trip was to tour the Amish
countryside and ride a train at the Strasburg Railroad in
Lancaster County. We have also stepped back in time to visit
Meadowcroft Village in Avella, PA and recently visited Cleveland Zoo. The
children also enjoy traveling to the Laurel Caverns and Fort Necessity
for a fun-filled day of learning and fellowship!
THE
END OF YEAR ELEMENTARY TRIP FOR THIS YEAR WILL BE ON FRIDAY, MAY 3,
2024.. WE ARE LEAVING THE DONEGAL BUILDING AT 9AM. WE ARE GOING TO FORT
NECESSITY AND THE LAUREL CAVERNS. STUDENTS MAY ORDER A SCHOOL LUNCH OR
BRING A LUNCH TO EAT ON THE TRIP. STUDENTS MAY BRING SPENDING
MONEY IN AN ENVELOPE TO VISIT THE GIFT SHOP AT LAUREL CAVERNS. THE
COST FOR OUR TRIP IS INCLUDED IN THE STUDENT ACTIVITIES FEE. PARENTS
ARE INVITED TO ATTEND. PLEASE CHECK THE PRINCIPAL NOTES FOR THE COST
AND OUR RETURN TIME. WE ASK EVERYONE TO COMPLETE A PERMISSION FORM AND
SIGN UP ASAP IN ORDER TO DETERMINE IF A SECOND BUS IS NEEDED!
